Thawzone® Pro Tech Service Kit rapidly unfreezes refrigeration systems, averting acid formation and maintaining moisture absence.

Applications

Compatible with all refrigerants regardless of size or refrigerant lubrication. Application for Refrigeration Systems: 1 bottle per 6 tons.

How to Use

Note: 2 ounces of Thawzone® per 6 tons of refrigeration, or 5-7% of the system's oil volume.

Refrigerant Used as a High-Pressure Source:

Prep: Remove the cap from the top of the injector and tighten the cap on the opposite (bottom) end to provide a leak-proof seal.

Connect: Using a charging hose, connect the top of the System Injector to a refrigerant source. Tighten hose fittings to make a seal.

Rotate: Turn the System Injector upside down so the bottom is now in the up position and the liquid is in the top of the Injector. Remove the second cap. Using the supplied Highside Pro Tech Service Charging Hose, connect this end of the Injector to the access valve on the compressor's low-pressure side.

Purge: Purge the lines, and when the lines are purged, tighten the fitting to form a seal at the access valve.

Insert: Insert the System Injector so that the liquid is now at the bottom of the injector, and refrigerant enters from the refrigerant source at the top of the Injector. Open the valve on the refrigerant container to pressurize the system.

Charge: With the system running, very slowly crack (access valve) the Pro Tech Charging Hose Valve and charge liquid into the system. Caution: You are charging a liquid. You must charge slowly so that the liquid does not slug the compressor.

Finish: When the liquid is all charged, close the refrigerant valve at the refrigerant container and the Pro Tech Charge Hose Valve at the compressor. Disassemble hoses.
