How to Use
Clean: Clean repair area using sandpaper or emery cloth to remove debris, then degrease with a solvent like mineral spirits, ensuring it dries completely before application. Do not apply Red Epoxy to a wet surface.
Apply: Apply equal amounts of resin from the red and white tubes onto provided foil tray.
Mix: Thoroughly mix the red and white parts until achieving a uniform red color. Once mixed, the resin remains viable for up to 4 hours.
Cover: Use mixed epoxy to cover the repair area adequately.
Heat: Slowly and uniformly heat the repaired area using a hot-air gun. Avoid concentrating heat in one spot to prevent overheating, charring, or excessive running of the repair. In this event, remove and start over.
Cure: Observe the color deepen from red to nearly a dark purple as heating progresses before turning gold. A uniform gold indicates a cure. Once gold, remove heat and allow repair to naturally cool to room temperature. Do NOT force cool as it will cause a weakened resin bond and may result in an incomplete cure. After repair has cooled, equipment can be returned to service immediately.
