Leak Lock® Gold contains Teflon® and is specifically designed to reduce galling in stainless steel pipe joints. Similar to Leak Lock®, Leak Lock Gold® is a thread sealant that prevents leaking of nearly all fluid, chemical, oil, gas and refrigerant substances. It’s suitable as a gasket sealing compound and can also prevent loosening of nuts, bolts, plugs, fittings, and other parts. As a sealant paste, it stays flexible after cured, adheres to surfaces, fills voids, and is potable water safe once cured. It works in temperatures from -200°F (-93°C) to 400°F (204°C), as well as full vacuums and pressures to 10,000 psi.
Leak Lock® Gold is an all-purpose, high-strength and versatile sealant containing Teflon® and designed to prevent galling in stainless steel piping while used to prevent leaks. Maintains its flexibility and adhesion under nearly all pressure and elemental forces. Suitable for use on all clean surface types.
