LeakLok® Emergency Pipe Repair Clamp

Description

The devastation caused by burst pipes in water and heating systems should not be underestimated. The damage to property, contents, electrical equipment, and
even the properties structure itself can lead to major personal and financial loss along with lengthy repairs and disruption.

The LeakLok® emergency repair clamp has been designed to immediately stem the flow of a burst pipe in the majority of common burst situations. The bursts can be the result of
frost, DIY and building or other accidental damage. In most situations on straight pipe the clamp will provide a seal that will stem the flow until a plumber is available to carry out a permanent repair.

Applications

It is recommended that an emergency pipe clamp is kept in a convenient location for immediate emergency use (damage can occur very quickly meaning speedy application can drastically reduce early damage).

How to Use

Always isolate water systems prior to application where possible, this is particularly important when used on hot water systems to avoid scalding. The clamp can however
be applied to cold water systems in full flow where isolation is not possible (note – reduce the point of repair pressure by opening other taps or valves in locations upstream and downstream of the burst to aid fitting).

For use on domestic and commercial water systems only with an operating pressure of 4 bar.g or below (58 psi). It is not suitable for use on gas, chemical, compressed air,
hydraulic or other pipework. Do not install within 3½ feet (1.2 meters of a boiler).
